Route optimization

Pool route software that plans the day and proves the work

Organize recurring routes by day and technician, optimize the drive order from GPS, and watch the day close out on a live map — without paying a fee for every stop.

Routes that build themselves

Set a maintenance account's frequency once — weekly, 2x through 5x weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly — and the schedule stays populated on a rolling 12-week horizon. No one has to rebuild next month's route board.

  • Recurring accounts grouped by service day and assigned technician
  • Drag-and-drop between days and techs, with the recurring pattern preserved
  • Unassigned maintenance accounts surfaced on the dashboard so nothing falls through
  • Map view of the whole route board, toggled on or off

Optimize the drive order, not just the list

Stops are geocoded on creation, so the day can be reordered by actual distance rather than the order accounts were entered. Techs can optimize from the shop in the morning or from wherever they are standing mid-route.

  • Closest-first or furthest-first ordering from the company address or live GPS
  • Per-tech visibility: technicians see only their own stops
  • Calendar views by day, week, month, or year for planners

Proof of service on every stop

Completed stops carry a GPS stamp, timestamps from clock-in/out and job start/finish, chemical readings, notes, and photos. When a customer questions a visit, the record is already there — and the customer can see it in their own portal.

Field View for the office

Admins and managers can open a live map showing every clocked-in technician alongside the day's stop pins — green for completed, red for outstanding — so dispatch decisions are made from what is actually happening, not a phone call.

Frequently asked questions

How does route optimization work in Pool Prime Pro?
Each service day's stops can be re-ordered automatically from the company address or the technician's current GPS position, closest-first or furthest-first. Addresses are geocoded when the account is created, so the ordering uses real coordinates rather than a manual list.
Can I move a stop to another day or another tech?
Yes. Recurring routes are organized by service day and assigned technician, and stops can be dragged between days and techs. Individual scheduled services can also be opened, edited, rescheduled, or cancelled without touching the rest of the route.
How far ahead are recurring stops generated?
Pool Prime Pro maintains a rolling 12-week schedule for every recurring maintenance account, regenerated by a nightly automated job, so the calendar is always populated without anyone rebuilding it by hand.
Can I see where my techs are right now?
Admins and managers with the right permission get Field View: a live map of every clocked-in technician plus pins for the day's stops — green for completed, red for still outstanding. Technicians control GPS sharing when they clock in and out.
